Crooked House by FOVEA Architects

The Crooked House situated in greenery swiss countryside, designed by FOVEA Architects. The house was prefabricated, boasts a strong aesthetic with a sharply angled facade. This house clad in painted pine planks that allow it to blend in with the rural architecture of the area. The lower level is a simple rectangular floor plan with a patio; an outdoor area that seems contained by the angled volume above. Filled with large windows this fa├žade fills the interior with light and avoids facing other villas being built in the near future. The house's form also borrows the image and function of the eaves found in local farmhouses.
